This weekend has a been a whirlwind of hairspry, lipstick and fun.
Betsy and Jeanie spent Saturday with a gorgeous gaggle of girls. We had the pleasure of creating vintage looks for a hen party. The theme being vintage burlesque. Of course that meant we had to look the part so we were adorned with lashes on our eyes and birds in our hair and Jeanie's Vivienne's (Westward) had a well deserved outing upon her feet. Mary Ann was the beautiful Maid of Honour hosting the party for an unsuspecting and equally beautiful Yoyo. Rarely do you meet people who are beautiful both out and in but last night we were surrounded by such lovliness it was almost overwhelming.
Enough of the gushing and on with the show.
Mary Ann has become a regular with Pincurls and Pout and we have now named a hairstyle in honour of her. We are often asked for the Mary Ann!
Yoyo is simply enchanting and so we decided to create a simple look to show case her elegant neck and stunning features.
Stephanie asked for a Lauren Bacal inspired look and how deliciously well she wore it. This was one of the favourite looks of the evening.
The girls all had individual looks and personalities and we felt it was important to showcase this. We always look at the girls as a whole, what they are wearing, shape of their face, complexions and hair colour. We had a wonderful time and the feedback from the party was flattering and positive.
